No. No wound lasts foveer (at least if you believe in a long long life after death), but sometimes they go away given enough time just because everything changes and they no longer have a context to survive in, like "water under the bridge." And sometimes they don't remain wounds but they become a permanent fixture in your growth, like when you damage the trunk of a young tree and the tree sort of grows around it and you see the effects for the rest of its life but it's no longer damage as such..
